ESS is a control system Integrator, license electrical contractor and stocking distributor serving the El Paso County and Southern NM for the past 18 years. Installations of SCADA systems that allows operators to remotely log on from anywhere to manage alarms and access real-time as historical information and optimization of complex control systems for food industry, electric utilities, oil and gas. Our expertise in this area spans in programmable logic control (PLC), distributed control systems (DCS), human-machine interface (HMl), supervisory control and data acquisition software (SCADA), variable speed drives (vfd), RFI communications of building and trouble-shooting systems, surveillance systems, process control, system integration and a license electrical contractor to provide turnkey solutions.
Certifications
A) UL508A is a safety standard that applies to industrial control panels. To be more specific, it covers industrial control and related devices rated 600 volts or less used for starting, stopping, regulating, controlling or protecting electric motors.
When your panel has a UL508A label they are generally easily approved by third party inspections.
Building inspectors will usually approve new equipment installations when the control panel has a UL508A label on it because it certifies a safety standard has been met.
ESS is a certified UL 508A panel fabricator, providing high-quality workmanship exceeding industry standards. We design, build, and install panels specific to your application, as well as retrofit existing panels. Our team is experienced with complex PLC panels, VFD buildups, and relay logic controls panels with any NEMA rating you require. All panels are subjected to an exhaustive inspection process to guarantee superior quality, including point-to-point continuity testing, power-up testing, and PLC/HMI software testing.
