Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team. This position is essential for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components across various industrial environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical skillset, a commitment to safety, and a passion for delivering quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in industrial settings, including control panels, wiring, and lighting.

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations and repairs.

Perform diagnostics and maintenance on equipment such as SCADA systems, PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial components.

Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and standards.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of projects.

Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior team members.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Document work performed and complete required reports or logs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Texas.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including control panels and PLCs.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SCADA systems, DCS, and HMI software.
• Familiarity with the food processing, oil and gas, or utility industries.
• OSHA safety training certification.
